There's really only two things wrong with this device: (1) the design, and (2) the execution.

From the design perspective, the adjustable guides for clipping are terrible. You can either do very short or very long. Nothing in between.

From an execution perspective, the guide clips are VERY fragile and don't look they'd last very long. But I'll never know because this device worked exactly ONE TIME before it crapped out on me.

Spend your money on a different product, this one has NOTHING going for it.

I bought this to replace my old remington trimmer since it fell apart after 4 years of use. What a mistake! This thing doesn't cut your hair it just pulls it out! I would never recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this from my local Target store, after having problems with another brand. It wasn't the cheapest thing on the shelf and I figured Remington would be a decent enough brand. But it is just plain horrible! Cuts very poorly and pretty much messed up my small beard as the guide on the beard trimmer liked to switch positions on its own! Seems very fragile as well. Razor attachment was not much better. I did not even attempt to use the other ones (although the included plastic neck line guide is semi-useful). The base it sits in is made of very thin plastic and is pretty much a joke, although it seems to serve its purpose. Back in the box it goes and hopefully I can get my money back.

At 4 months old this thing never did cut decently, now it won't charge nor even run plugged in. I've never paid more for something SO worthless.

As everyone else has stated, this product is complete garbage and clearly no one at Remington has tested this product out on themsleves. If they had they would easily see that it simply does not work at all and only rips out your hair in chunks. Do not buy this product.

Great for trimming hair. However, does not keep your beard at a low length. You need considerable anount of hair before it starts to work

Purchased at Walmart, looked perfect.

Worked for about 10 minutes the first time after a 2 hour charge.

Used it less then 10 times now and it won't even hold a charge for 20 seconds. Complete garbage.

I bought this from amazon, not a partner of them. but this one is probably a Chinese fake one. I wonder why amazon is selling fake items.

I bought 3 items. The charger died in less than 2 min in each item. Its unbelievable. Waste of time.

The upside is though, the customer care is outstanding. They don't need stupid proofs, like eBay does. No stupid questions asked. They even refunded the return postage, which is a significant amount if you return from Asia.

eBay wouldn't even refund the return cost and they need hard proof that the item is damaged from a prof company, which is a pretty big amount or return at your own cost.


I recommend amazon, but not this item. The previous model (350) is great. I have been using for almost a year, no prob yet.

The trimmer doesnt work very well, and I have a problem with the power adapter where the little plastic sleeve in the jack has slippled out. I used it a few times, but went back to the original trimmer that I planed to replace with this one. Save your money and buy something else...it is a piece of junk

Ok, the first thing to say about this is- Excellent value for the money. Its can cut through hair like its not even there. Buuuuut..........
It does not work like a mainstream phillips trimmer, but its also not priced like one. It DOES NOT PULL OUT HAIR! I have no clue how so many reviews saying that got out. It is capable of pulling skin in and leaving shallow cuts, but this stops with a bit of practice. However it is worth noting that it did cut me rather painfully on my first use(I was manscaping so it especially sucked because I didnt know trimmers could cut skin. So be careful on use number one, even more so when your balls are at stake. The foil shaver does not work and attempting to use it causes skin irritation. IDK Why this thing got so brutally reviewed, it does not deserve it.
