Men (directly) and women (indirectly) will love this trimming device. While targeted towards facial hair, it cuts right through any hair (even pet hair - can't wait to try it on my cat - will resist the urge to put in a clever pun here!).

But seriously, this item is very well constructed. It feels heavy and like something out of the 50's ... and that is a good thing in this era of cheapo plastic gadgets that break after one use. Seriously, I'll probably have this thing for many years - probably will outlast me.
Charging is easy - comes with wall charger AND USB charger. Yes, seriously, I almost want to take it to work and plug into my computer just to see what comments I get. For a traveler this is a nice feature in that you won't have to pack the wall charger (although you really wouldn't need ANY charger unless you are backpacking through Europe for a summer).

And wow does this thing cut like butter. Facial hair. Neck hair. Chest hair. Pretty much any hair from anywhere. You can turn that jungle into a paradise in a matter of minutes. Just be careful because the blades are sharp and if pressure is applied at the wrong angle on a small patch of skin you can get a little nick.

Cleaning is a cinch - just press the little buttons and the blades / head pops out where you can run it underneath a stream of water.

Also included is a little zipper-case and several additional attachments to vary the cutting length.

In summary, very highly recommended!

My wife usually does the haircutting in the family, so this was partially a gift to her. BUT, since it's my hair being cut, it's also a gift for me.

The first thing my wife said was "I love not having to deal with the cord!" We're no longer bound to the wall jacks -- wherever we can put the chair, we can cut the hair. The fully adjustable guards also make the haircut look more professional, especially if you use the beard guard for your hair. My wife barely had to use scissors at all, which is another thing she loved.

One pretty unusual thing -- these clippers have a USB JACK!!??! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Several jokes about downloading hairstyles to the clippers later, we realized this is a pretty convenient feature. So many chargers are using USB jacks to provide power (in place of transformers, I guess), this is a pretty good idea. Makes things more compact.

Comes with a nice protective travel case.

This Remington clipper set is a pretty nice set - it comes with the main clipper unit, 2 combs, a stubble groomer, and a wall/USB charger.

The main unit has good weight - not too heavy & not too light. The product is advertised as coming with "turbo boost", which makes the hair cutting experience faster. Since I'm a slow, methodical hair cutter, I cannot attest to the "speed", but can say that the clippers were powerful enough to glide through thick hair and that the battery charge gives you plenty of time to finish a haircut.

I really like the click & wash feature ("with the click of a button, the blade set slides out to rinse under running water with no tricky dismantling required"). This feature is new to me and really makes clean-up a lot easier.

Overall, I am impressed with the Remington clippers, and my old corded Wahl has been retired.
