Does the job it was designed do well. It is simple but effective. The charge led is all the feedback the charger gives you. To prevent overcharging, from a given state of discharge. Take note of how long it takes in hours to get the led on the charger to blink at a fast rate. That is indication of a finished charge cycle, how accurate this is i can not say. Probably in the ballpark at least. A volt meter will tell the whole story, but not everyone has such a thing. I would use a programable timer, cheap one like for house lights that are supposed to make it look like your home when your not. $5 to $7 bucks at a box store. Take note of how long the charge time is, set the timer accordingly and your done. It will shut off by itself and not overcharge - boil the battery. Charge current is not controlled, it is constant. So a shut off point is needed or you will damage the battery, thats where the timer comes in. Cheap insurance, and you'll get a good long service life from the battery.
