Razor burn, but overall a good product,
By
This review is from: Remington Titanium MicroFlex Shaver (Health and Beauty)
I don't really know how well to rate this product, because I don't have much experience with electric razors. But, I received this one--the Remington Titanium Microflex R-650--and it does a decent job. The problem I had when I first used it is my face turned red and itchy. I had to throw on a bunch of witch hazel astringent to help the problem. I just have one of those faces that, especially for a white guy, gets razor burn pretty easily. It usually turns into acne infections later. That's why I don't shave with a razor for the two years since I got out of the army--where I had to shave every day. It has been much easier to maintain face hair between 5 o'clock shadow and a slight beard, because my face hasn't broken out that way, by using a Conair moustache trimmer. I don't like cuts, and the Conair trimmer never gave me any cuts--take a note of this. I warn, this Remington razor cuts close! That isn't any problem. It's like any three-cylindrical-head electric razor. Sometimes it tends to scratch my face--I have sensitive skin. The electrical part itself is decent here--it recharges. And, the internal battery lasts quite a while, but bring the cord with you on trips--it operates with or without cord. The manual says it charges in "7.5 hours" and the box says the razor can run straight for 50 minutes, which I think is normal to good.
Another great thing about this razor is it has automatic, worldwide voltage. This means I can plug this razor into a 220v outlet like in the Western Europe area like France, Germany, and Austria, where I sometimes travel. The only thing I need to plug it in when I travel to Germany is the plug adapter that costs about one dollar or less. I already have two or three of them. They're easy to get. The item advertises that it is washable, although I haven't tried yet because I just got it. But so far, I just open it up and shake or blow the hair out of the head. It's pretty simple.

My face hurt for hours,

I have used electric razors for years and this is without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had. This hurt my face very badly and gave a terrible shave.

I concur with the poor reviews,
I encountered the same sticking after 8 months of use. I cleaned it thoroughly and applied a shaver lube spray and got good results immediately there after but the same problem occured the very next morning. This is not close as a razor and I want my money back Mr. Remington.

won't charge after less than year of use,
I've had this shaver less than a year and now it won't charge up. The other reviewer is right about the blades slowing and sticking. He's also right about it needing to be charged to work even with the charging cable plugged in and the cable would fall out a lot. I threw out the receipt being confident it would last but now I have to spend between $30-$50 for a new one. I would avoid this product.

Not a good shaver,
By I've just replaced it with a similarly-priced Norelco 7810X and am very happy with the new produuct.

Remington 650,
By Chess Worm "Mike" (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews I didn't have problems with holding a charge. I found it at Target for about $45 so cheaper than the Amazon price

Reminton razor; clock radio,

I ordered a Remington Electric Razor, which was to come from Target. When I opened the shipping carton, the razor was a clock radio, which I returned, I was to get a refund, which I have not, so far, received.
