Beware of Remington refurbished products,

BUYERS BEWARE: I bought a refurbished Remington shaver, and it will not hold a charge. The fancy (and useless) "minutes left" indicator will show that there are 30 minutes left, and then the battery dies (the maximum charge is supposed to give 40 minutes of shaving). I might have gotten a defective one, but Remington responded to an e-mail saying (verbatim) that "We do not warranty products that are purchased that have been refurbished. We are sorry for any trouble this may cause you". DON'T BUY this shaver. Or any Remington shaver if you don't want to run with the risk of ending up with a piece of junk in a drawer.

Thisx shaver gave a good close shave, a big improvement over my old Braun. BUT it has only given very few shaves before needing recharge and i have contemplated returning it. I would certainly have done so if I had got it from a local retailer who offered a 30 day warranty.
