I tried the free copy of "Reminisce," and I'm hooked. The stories, photos, and advertisements wafted me back to my childhood days of the 1940s-1950s. I can see that this is going to be one of the few magazines that I peruse from cover to cover every month.

The magazine looks great on my Kindle Fire, and I've already subscribed so I don't miss any issues. The editors solicit personal stories and photos, and I'm working on some stories to submit. Yes, I'm pumped up about the magazine!

Update (June 15, 2012): I've just finished perusing the June 2012 issue. After seeing two issues now, I'm even more impressed with the magazine.

This is a nice little magazine when you just want to read about things you remember from when you were young. It's completely written by the readers. They write about things you remember from each era. Besides finding things I remember, I find things that my mother used to talk about. The price is right & it's great when you want some light reading.

About 20 years ago my mom would pass this magazine off to me as she knew I loved reading about and remembering the past. Now I download it on my Kindle and take it with me everywhere. There is something in every issue that I can relate to or somehow it opens a window to the past for me. Great magazine!!!

I was born in 1951, so I'm still a "young" senior. I have somewhat bad eyesight which was my main reason for getting the Kindle. I can now read without difficulty. I love it! I decided to try a magazine and had read Reminisce at my mother's. I enjoy the stories (I've always been a student of history) and, while I remember some of the cultural events, some are before my time. Great price, too. This is Americana at it's best!

I love this magazine because the stories in it take me back to a sweeter, more innocent time. I work as an activities facilitator for an assisted living home on the dementia care unit. I use your magazine as a tool to help my residents share the few memories that they still possess. This is therapeutic for them.

I used to work in a retirement community and these magazines were laying around on every end table in the facility. So I picked one up one day and started reading it! I loved it!! Having recently lost my grandmother who would tell me her stories, this was right up my alley! So I got a subscription and started listening to old stories from all over!!!
