"I always think of Girls Write Now as an investment in the future of American writers, and these amazing stories and poems prove that the future will be bright beyond our imagining." --Tayari Jones, author of Silver Sparrow
"Girls Write Now consistently produces some of the most uplifting, original work I've seen. They have a way of reaching into the invisible city and making visible what is so quintessential to the human experience, particularly of growing up female in New York." --Courtney E. Martin, author of Do It Anyway: The New Generation of Activists
"REMIX is an amazing collection of stories and poems and essays. Vibrant, varied, heartfelt and true, each piece resounds with authenticity. There can be no better testament to the richness of the mentor-mentee writing relationship than this beautiful collection." --Kate Christensen, author of The Astral
