The sticker on the outside of the CD reads "All The Classic Remixes." They all aren't here though...where is the "Fiesta-Remix?" Did the squabble/lawsuit with Jay Z keep this classic song off of the CD? Is the omission of this song the reason we get TWO remixes for "Feelin On Yo Booty?" This is not nit-picking, ask any R. Kelly fan about his most popular remixes and surely "Fiesta-Remix" will be mentioned.

Anyway, here is the 4-11. With this CD you get most all of R. Kelly's commercially released re-mixes. The "Ignition" remix from "Chocolate Factory" is here as are other popular remixes. The remix for "I Wish" is marred with a ton of N words some censors decided to leave out, so you hear R. say "for My Ni.." you get my point, they took out all his N words and at the end of the song he asks the radio people to leave the N words in his song.

I will tell you what I have found that this CD is best for..driving around just chillin or while you are relaxing at home or doing chores. Most of it you have heard before since these are classic remixes and not updated versions of the songs. The CD includes two never before released remixes and can boast appearances from Sean Paul, Akon, Youngbloodz, and Wise and Yandel. The Amazon track list is incorrect also. There are 14 tracks on the CD.

Overall, the CD seems a bit rushed or as if it was just something thrown out on the market due to the upcoming holiday season. The booklet inside of the CD doesn't provide any background or history related to the songs or the CD. It includes the album credits. No liner notes from Kellz, no hidden videos or bonus goodies. There isn't much here to make it a "must have." So if you are a casual R. Kelly fan you can just add this one to your wish list. But hey, it's a good CD, so if you feel the urge to get your R. Kelly remix on pick it up today.

i just wanted to point out b/c the review before me stated that all the remixes werent there which is something that also came to my mind when i listened and read the tracks . i wanted to point out this is VOL. 1 meaning 9 out of 10 there will be a VOL. 2 more money if u break it up :)

Most R Kelly fans have everything this man has put out anyways. But for those who were late jumping on the bandwagon, Remix City Volume One serves up the hottest (and a few not so hot) remixes that span R Kelly's entire career. Remixes for classics songs like "Bump and Grind," "Slow Dance," "Your Body's Callin'," "Sex Me," "I Can't Sleep Baby," and "Down Low" already make this disc worth the money. Additional jams like the remixes for "I Wish (To The Homies That We Lost)," "I Mean (I Don't Mean It)" "Step In The Name Of Love,"and "Ignition" further exemplify the worth of this disc. Some songs like the two "Feelin' On Your Booty" remixes as well as "Slow Wind" and "Burn It Up" could have been left off and replaced with other remixess. I guess we'll have to wait for the obviously-needed Volume Two for any other jems.

This album remixes most of the classics and has some songs missing that we're remixed like Playas Only, Did You Ever Think & Fiesta but it is still good

I LOVE THIS CD. I HAVE PLAYED IT OVER AND OVER. THE SOUND WAS JUST GREAT. I'M ALREADY GETTING MY LIST TOGETHER FOR MY NEXT VISIT ON AMAZON.COM

This CD was great! R. Kelly did a good job on all the remixes as usual. I wish he would stop wasting his talent on hip-hop and stick to what he does best which is R&B.

I love R Kelly and all of his music, and now to get some remixes from him is fantastic because while not all artists make good remixes; he has done a great job. The songs on here are all great songs to start with, but now most are enhanced really well. I especially love Your Body's Calling, I Can't Sleep Baby, Down Low and Step In The Name Of Love. They are the best cuts here but for all R Kelly fans, you won't be too disappointed. He's such a talented artist, and this is a fantastic addition to your R Kelly collection.

I'll be the first admit that R.Kelly isn't the best singer in the world, but with his Remix City, Volume One CD, he takes us back to a time when he was acutally singing and not talking jibberish in his songs. The first four songs are baby maker classics starting out with Slow Dance, then going into Sex Me followed by Bump & Grind and Your Body's Callin. All of the songs were betetr when remixed and I still use them on mix CD'S. Tracks five and six which are If I Can't Sleep remix and Down Low still sound as good as they did back in 96 but a few mixes could have been left off the CD such as Feelin On Ya Booty,I Mean and Slow Wind. Surpsingly Kells didn't include any remixes from his R album, it would have been cool to hear a remix of Half On A Baby or If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time. All in all this is a worthy companion to his greatest hits package .

R.kelly is the king of Music already&this is One of the Areas where He Dominates the Most."Your Body's Callin" is still a Smooth Jam. the Re-Mix has always been the truth."Bump&Grind" the way he flips the Re-Mix ain't no joke."Igniation" is still smoking. "Step in the Name of Love" the Best party Jam of this New Century easily. "Feelin on yo Booty" has the youngbloods on it.not much of a difference from the Original.Feelin on Yo Bootay is the cut in it's original Form."I Mean(I Don't Mean it) is Classic Kells.His Vocals really hit even more on the cut."Slow Wind" the one I heard with Sean Paul&Akon left me sleepy.Sean Paul's Dance-hall Expiration time is about to Expire.Akon has took Mark Morrison's Idenity&Ran with it,but vocally He gets on my nerves.I don't like the Editing element because the Originals don't have that.on a whole this is a Very Good Collection.I have had all the mixes for years,but if you are just getting them then this is cool. R.kelly has always made lassic Re-Mixes&Often making whole different songs.R.kelly Music Re-Mixes are just like Sprite's Re-Mixe it adds a whole new Life to a Proven Great Foundation.just wish things weren't edited. hopefully one day when the Ultimate R.Kelly Box set drops there will be all the Re-Mixes untouched. this is great though because I got the 'Trapped in the Closet" Movie two weeks ago&now this Album.it's a Great "R" Month&Time of the year.
