NICE WORK!. 14 tracks reflecting his unique style of remixing and mixing. Yes, with technology anyone can, but Saeeds remixes always stands out and make YOU stand up to the dance floor. ... I love this compilation, and I recommend it! A+ Saeed :)

Things get hot and heavy pretty quickly here,

It about time Saeed Younan gets the recognition he deserves. Having
taken significant strides since becoming a solo artist. This album is just another stepping stone to the top. Some of the tracks here might take more than a few listens to really sink in, but this album is worth the cost of its most breath taking tracks, "moody", "you know I got it", and "how does it feel". Its is exactly this kind of production that is going to finally take dance music into the future and keep it there. Excellent job Mr. Younan!

One of the best debut dance albums in recent times,

Throughout the mix, the album continues to peak. Sophisticated percussive grooves, gritty chunky beats and fat bottomed basslines. Refreshingly inventive, and wickedly intellgent.

It's no secret that Saeed Younan is a phenomenal producer. His work on the Star 69 label alone has found him a place at the head of the table amongst his peers, including award show nominations and praise in the media. It is with that in mind that his latest effort for the label, the cleverly titled `Re:Mixed' comes as a mixed bag of work. At first disappointing, the album does recover later, but too long to save it from the middle of the road between really good and what passes for okay. Saeed's remix work provides some of the best of his tribal background, yet seems disjointed in this mix. There are sections of brilliance including Stephen M + Nicky Scann featuring Nadia on `Go Deeper' and the dirty brilliance of BPT featuring DM Binxter on the smash `Moody'. That track alone is a must-have for any fan of the deep dance floor groove. The disc does include bits of Saeed's continued emergence as a solo entity including the stunning `Rock The Rhythm' which shows his ability to blend earthy grooves with driving percussive beats. Saeed also provides `You Know What I Got' which boasts one of the more uptempo grooves on Re:Mixed. The album features an exclusive unreleased mix of the much-hyped `The Underground' from fellow Star 69-label mate Celeda. Yet its tracks like the aptly-titled `Behold Malfunction' that are forgettable and borderline formulaic while `True House' seems completely recycled. For anyone who has rocked to set from Saeed in the past, don't let this sway you from checking out Re:Mixed, as a true collector its worth adding to your archive. -- review by Shawn Wallace, DJfix.com and Raves.com (posted with permission)
