De/Vision with a twist for the dance floor, October 15, 2002
This review is from: Remixed (Audio CD)
This band needs not introduction as they are one the best dark synth-pop bands to come out of Germany.
Mesmerizing and compelling vocals along with dark, deep lyrics, and wonderfully orchestrated luscious synth lines is what De/Vision is all about.
This CD contains remixes of the bands top hits from the 90's. All songs have been completely reworked, given a twist, tweaked, and pumped with energy, yet still keeping their original flavor.
If you can get a hold of the import version of this CD, it comes with a limited edition bonus CD that contains remixes by elite acts like Beborn Beton, Colony 5, Psyche, TOY, DJ RAM and many others...

To bad Falco is not alive to hear this album....., November 30, 2002

This review is from: Remixed (Audio CD)
German dark wave at it's best, with a beat that could almost resurect Falco. As soon as i received "Remixed" in the mail i put it on in my parents living room and tested it out with my 2 year old nephew. Within seconds the litte guy was jumping up and down enjoying the beat. I'm not a purple dinosaur but i danced around the living room with my nephew enjoying the electronic sound as much as he did. De Vision's "Remixed' sounds even better if you play it loudly. i stongly recommend this album to those who like bands like Mesh, Scooter, and other rare sounds....

Less impressed, OK, February 12, 2003

This was the first De/Vision album I bought, and I was sadly let down. There are better updated synth-pop albums out there (Alphaville's Salvation, Iris's Disconnect, or Echoing Green's Supernova for that matter). I'll give them another try, since so many people rave about this band, but I hope someone could suggest what might be a good album to buy by De/Vision. For completists only
