This review is from: Remo DI-6110-00 Djembe Stand (fits 12" or larger djembe)
This product is very helpful if you wish to play your djembe while sitting. It's sturdy, and with the rubber coating, it offers the drum a bit of protection from scratches. [It is also helpful for storage.]The stand raises the drum off the floor, which allows the sound hole to do its job more effectively --a fact that frees the drum's uniquely versatile "voices" for best playing, slaps, tones, and most especially, bass. This stand is the perfect companion to a Remo Festival Djembe 12."

This review is from: Remo DI-6110-00 Djembe Stand (fits 12" or larger djembe)
I play congas, primarily, and djembe on the side, literally, on the right side. This stand is light weight and does what I need it to do, tilt the drum away from me at just the right angle. When it comes time for djembe, I just rotate 90 degrees and we're ready to go. Wish there was something like this for quinto. Anyway, the djembe is just a tad top-heavy and this solves the problem, my feet around the stand, and I don't have to worry about the djembe going "TIMBER!" during a performance.
