This drum has some serious depth and rich tones. The construction takes a beating and is not affected by temperature and humidity like a wooden one I just sold. Worth the cash to go with the 16" model. I also bought the Lightweight floor stand, which is the ONLY stand to get if you plan to use it outside where other stands sink into the ground.

This was bought as a Christmas gift and the receiver was trilled with it. Has a great sound!
