This product was delivered quickly and without incident. It is a large drum often used for drum circles, Shamanic Work, or any practice or activity that requires a drum that keeps a similar tone throughout. This Remo or Buffalo drum keeps its tone in any weather and so is a favorite of the outdoor drummer. I recommend this drum if you are doing outdoor/indoor work, meditation, Shamanic work, and Rhythmic dancing. This durable drum will be your partner for a long time to come.

Nice deep sound. You hit it with the included padded mallet and you can hear it resonate for a long time.

I don't know how a real animal skin sounds, but this one really sounds nice. And you can't beat the price.

Great Drum!! I got the 16 inches one first, but then bough this 22 inches the sound is really great and at some point it gets hypnotic. Really nice, a very good REMO product, specially if you are into native american music, native american chant circles.

The Remo Buffalo Drum has an outstanding sound, with deep reverberance which helps in accesing that non ordinary reality many of us are looking for with the aid of this instrument. Eather for individual play or as part of a group or drumming circle, it's sound stands out.
