I am kind of disappointed- the guy at the drum store told me this was a great head. Not really. It's okay, but I'm sure there are better ones out there. Keep looking!

Good head but not for snare, perfect for toms,

The remo emperor head did not work out very well for me. I used it on my 14" pacific cx series snare. It would probably work very well on toms. It is not a good head for a snare drum. but it would be perfect for rock toms and the g2 would do the same thing as they are virtually the same head, from different companies
