I thought I read the reviews and description of this car thoroughly. Evidently not. The car itself works fine however, when you turn it on it plays a loud song over and over and there is no volume or music off button. My 7 year-old thought it was funny and loved it for about 30 minutes. After that he even wanted to turn the music off. It just isn't realistic to play with this is in the house because of the noise. We ended up finding a similar car with no music that works off of batteries (another plus so you don't have to wait the 4 hours for it to recharge) at Steinmart for $12.99. We're giving this one to Goodwill.

THIS THING ROCKS. IT IS REALLY SURPRISING THAT SOMETHING WITH THAT PRICE WOULD BE SO GREAT PERFORMANCE TOY!
THE ONLY CON IS THE FRAGILE AND DANGEROUS ANTENNA OF THE REMOTE CONTROLLER THAT BRAKES AFTER TWO DAYS OF OPERATION. IT WOULD BE BETTER A FLEXIBLE ONE. ALSO THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES HOLD ONLY 700 mA OF CHARGE WHEN ALMOST EVERY RECHARGEABLE BATTERY (AA TYPE) NOWADAYS IS ABLE TO HOLD UP TO 2 Amps OF CHARGE...BUT BESIDES THOSE THINGS THE CAR IS AWESOME~!!

Every one has a lot of fun with this toy. The only problem we had was that the dirctions for charging the toy are wrong. It tells you that when you plug it in to charge it that the switch on the car must be left in the on position. The music played non stop for hours and when I contacted the company about this they told me to turn the remote off. Mean while the batteries had not even been put into the remote yet. When you plug the car in to charge it...leave the switch off! It does not need to be turned on to charge it. Big error on the company's part.

My kids love this car and so far (after a week and a half) only one antenna has broken off. The lights all flash and the car flips around as promised, but the really LOUD klesmer music that blasts from it while it's on is a bit annoying.

We bought the car as a birthday gift for our 6 year old on the street of the city mall in L.A.
The antenna didn't break yet (as so many people remarked in their feedbacks), but the charge of the car just doesn't work. It can be driven for one minute, and then it just stalls.

It is such a big disappointment for a 6 year old boy: THE MAIN GIFT for his birthday, and just breaks so quickly.
Stuff that bad quality should not be allowed on the market! I hope that company goes bankrupt as fast as possible!

The car is fantastic and soooooooooooooo much fun. Bright lights and crazy moves. This is two we have bought because the controls are much easier to use for the younger child then most. BUT the antenna has broke off of both of them almost immediately. Will not try another one even though the car is superb.

We gave a similar car (police version) to my son for Christmas this year. It by far is his favorite toy besides the fisher price camera. He figured it out pretty quickly and the remote does require some getting used to. He uses both joy sticks - one controls the flipping around of the front axel and the other controls speed and forward and backward movement. It did go down a flight of a stairs a few times which only cracked the plastic roof but only because it landed that way on a tile floor at the bottom one time. It still works great and he loves the lights. Great toy for the price for your little one or for a birthday gift. Happy buying!

This was a huge hit at our school incentive assembly. I used a previously purchased r/c car and it was the demo for the assembly. These are easy to use for most ages 2- 122!

This toy is a rip off! Got one for my grandson and after the batteries drained, went to recharge it. There was no receiver for the charger! I took it apart thinking the recepticle was pushed in, but it was wired without one. Tried to contact company but no reply. Another Chinese piece of crap!!

Gave this to my 4 years old daughter and 2 year old son. And of course, I controlled it for them.
I like the light and movement.
The only problem is that the quality of it is too low.
It is made of cheap plastic so it is easily broken.
