Great buy, comes with all the fixins!! Battery only lasts about half an hour so if you want more out of it get an extended life battery. Other boats are closer to 100 dollars so this + the extra battery is still a great deal. I will most likely buy more of these.

Bought this for my kids to use in the pool. This boat is pretty fast, alot of battery operated boats are NOT. The battery lasts good compared to other boats, about 20 minutes. It does take at least 4 hours to charge the battery though, recommend you get extra batteries and charge them overnight. Only negative comment is no reverse. Very easy to turn sharp/do figure 8's. I let a 4 year old use it, little TOO fast for that age. This boat is good for pool too, the "rounded" front pontoons won't poke a hole in liner. If you buy 2 be aware that you need 2 different freqs (27mhz or 40mhz) if you want to use them at same time for racing. I bought 2 and recieved a red one and a blue one, but they were both 27mhz. Recommend you call the supplier to see if they have 2 frequencies.

This boat is super fast. Runs at 15-20 mph like the box says for about 5-10 minutes. 10 mintues after that it goes about 5-10 mph, which is a good speed. It's so fast it creates wakes and waves. I played with it on a backyard lake and it goes about 300 yards before running out of range. Construction wise its solid and durable. Only bad thing is the battery cover is difficult to put on at times, and doesn't create a 100& waterproof seal. Just be sure to dump out any water before you put it away for the day. I highly recommend this boat. Fast, cheap and very fun.

This is a very well scaled designed model exciting to look at. Looks really expensive like a hobby grade boat.

Unfortunately it is slow for a hydro model it is heavy and large and needs a much larger capacity battery than the one that comes with the set. 3000ma NmHi or bigger. Probably could get away with 8.4 volts too. The graphics are toy like and with some effort come off for a more scale look. For the RC kit basher there is room to add in more powerful brushless motors and lots of batteries and hobby grade RC gear.

Easy to install proboat rudder and octura metal surface drive props and Lipo battery too. For 50.00 to 70.00 it is a fair deal on an entry level scale race boat. The smaller one by NDQ like this boat only 18" long appears to be a faster stock setup.

Liked the boat just needed more top speed to excite me.

Bought this boat for my little daughter to play in the area pond.

This is a fun little boat that goes relatively fast in a calm water. The rudder is a non working one and the steering is accomplished via dual props. As usual, there is only forward, left and right. No backwards. The control is a pistol grip and it is light enough for my daughter to hold.

Clearly, for this money you will not get a long lasting battery. The battery I got is 700 Ni-Cd and it lasts about 15-20min. A better battery (2000)would run you about $60 by itself.

An important thing to do is you need to dry the boat after using it!

This boat is a waste of money because of its short battery charge life. It says you can run it for "8-14 Minutes" depending on the speed chosen. The only speed choices you actually have are go and not go! So... I got 3 minutes of performance. Just enough to get the boat away from you before it quits.

This r/c hydro boat seems to be well made. The color and styling made it a hit when opening the present at Christmas. As of now, all looks good. But the lake is still frozen in Michigan. Come the thaw, we'll see how it performs.

The boat looks cool and thats where it ends! Boat is heavy and a slug. Save your money and get a Proboat or the Miss Vegas by Aquacraft. Any other "toy" boat would be better then this piece of junk. I have a Sea Ray cabin cruiser that went 3 times faster and handled better then this "Hydro"

The boat lasted about a good five minutes then when a lake wave hit it, then it stopped working. It does not appear to be very well made or water proof.
