This helicopter is a fun toy, and a good value. I've been flying it around my living room though it's a little big for indoor flight. The battery, after charging for 120 minutes, was not hot. This amount of charge time allowed for an 11 minute flight. I'm going to try a 2.5 hour charge next time. One thing to note: the battery & some heli parts are quite hot after discharge, so it is important to allow them to cool down 30 mins before recharging... If you can get a 'Mini Mosquito' that actually works well, it is a much better indoor flyer. That one will charge in 25 minutes, and fly for 10. However, I have purchased four of those (not from this site), and only 1 worked properly. Go large with this 9081, or the AH-64.

Pros: Good motor power and battery life. Copter battery recharges from outlet not remote control. Charge last 12-15 minutes.

Cons: Not very easy to fly. Needs an opens space outside, especially when beginning. Instructions not very detailed.

What a disappointment on Christmas. On first try after being fully charged, the helicopter never would get up in the air and then died (battery dead) after about 3 minutes of trying. We charged it over night and the next day it lifted off slightly but only let us try for about 5 minutes before it was dead again. On the third try it again would barely lift off of the ground and then uncontrollably skimmed across the grass and hit the side of the house--breaking it for good. What a waste of $50 and a disappointment for my little girl.
