This is fine, but be aware that you cannot select different line inputs on your DVD player with this remote. We have our Tivo running into Line 1 and VCR into Line 2 and can't select between them. If you don't have anything running into your DVD player, this should be fine for you.

This remote doesn't work with my TV, which is the reason that I bought the remote. Not so helpful. Beyond that, it is great.
