Fun, but fun ends quickly when it breaks,

We got two of these for my son for his 5th birthday, he and his 3 year old brother (and father and uncles) loved it. The next time we went to use them, they were broken. They were so loved, I returned them, and got new ones. One remote didn't work out of the package, again, after one use, one of the ships broke. Foolishly, I brought one of them back again, and asked the girl at the toy store about it, she told me that she got them back all the time and said, confidentially, don't buy another, you'll be back here returning it. Guess, what, I got another, and am bringing them back again. They are tons of fun, but only buy styrofoam toys if you live near the toy store with a good return policy. Save your money for something else.

Loads of fun!!,

I saw this at my cousins birthday and had to have it. It is the best fun for the money. My 3 year old hounds me daily to play with "daddy's toy". It flies over 50ft high with a fresh charge and a new battery in the remote. It is best suited for calm days and wide open spaces. Can be flown inside as well. Styrofoam construction is fairly durable on rough landings. I had 2 fins break at one end, thanks to the 3 year old, and it still flies!! The joy it brings him is well worth the money and I'll buy another when this one is finished.

For the price this is great entertainment. I bought it to entertain my llamas and I wasn't disappointed.
It only holds a short charge, so don't expect more than 5 minutes at a time with it, but it flies far and charges back up quickly. Learning to get it to hover properly is intuitive, the hardest part is getting the hang of restabilizing/landing if it gets out of control from the wind. This is great for all ages and is surprisingly durable. It took a good 75 foot drop straight down onto the gravel and was fine.

cooler than I thought,

Was looking for a gift for a 5 yr old. I fly a lot of Rc planes, and he wanted a RC helli. I got this thinking it was a good compromise. It's only got a single control for up / down, but it's surprisingly stable, and with some practice, the throttle can be goosed when it's pointing in the right direction, allowing a little more control. The kids loved it, Definetly the hit of the party. THe adults thought it was pretty cool. and for the price it's a good deal and it works in small spaces. A bit more advanced is the Airace by airhogs. A real flying biplane that actually flies. $[...] at tarXet

I've had similar product in the past. It is a blast. However, I'm concerned about the advertised 9.0 lbs shipping weight advertised by the seller (price inflation tactic?). compare this item with a similar flying saucer-type item that has a shipping weight of just 2.10lbs. At any rate, shipping charges for the product totaled $13 and change!!! Needless to say, I thinkg I got swindled, but the product itself is pretty cool. Buyer beware.

My son had a similar toy by Spinmaster called Vectron Phazor. After lots of use we decided to buy another one for his brother. This toy looks identical to the one we had, expect for the remote. So I bought it, thinking it would be just the same. It broke almost immediately. Something with the remote or hardware on the toy. I do not recommend this toy. I would recommend the other brand (Spinmaster: Vectron Phazor) but I don't think you can find them any more.

I love these flying toys. They're safe, obnoxious, a very entertaining to fly around. I heavily play with the toys and consequently break them after a few dozen hours. This product is my 3rd purchase in 3 years, and I have to say it's the most durable and powerful revision yet. Highly recommended for parks and college campuses.

The company we got this from was awesome! We had gotten one of these and it was defected. We were shipped another one with no charge for the replacement....again, it didn't work. My 10 year old though is a great kid and said it didn't bother him that it didn't work. (He had paid for it with his own money.) He told his younger brother not to bother with the same toy. The company though was really great....too bad the toy didn't work well.

My kids love this toy but.... the battery needs recharging often, it is a thick foam saucer and it is dangerous. The plastic blades are not blocked by anything and CUT skin!
