This review is from: Remote Sensing: Principles and Interpretations (Hardcover)
As an engineering geologist I was introduced to Remote Sensing in college with Sabins book and work book as the required text about 9 years ago. It was a joy to learn from such a well designed text/manual. I still use the book today in my work, setting up a geotechnical database/GIS spatial analysis. It is a must book for any geologist who uses 21st century technology in their work.

This review is from: Remote Sensing: Principles and Interpretations (Hardcover)
This book presents a seminal work on the science of Remote sensing from a pioneer in that field. Sabin's work has been, since the first edition, painstakingly accurate and useful for engineer and scientists of every career that relates to the Earth sciences, aerospace or materials sciences. The book is well organized and should be a treasure in the home of every engineer.
