Product Description
The remote ambient temperature / relative humidity sensor is mounted on a cord over 7' long. Place the highly accurate sensor inside a desiccator, refrigerator, drying or other environmental chamber and view displays of temperature or RH together with their min-max readings on the monitor outside. Select şC or şF and minimum and maximum temperature and RH alarms. When these parameters are exceeded an audible alarm sounds. Stands or wall mounts. Takes 1 AAA Battery. Dim: 4 1/8" X 2 ľ" X 6/8"ť (105 X 70 X 20 mm). Weight: 3 oz (85 g).

Not a bad product. The upper temp range is limited to 158F which was lower than I really wanted, so I had to position the sensor so the temperature was within range. These specifications were not documented here. The documentation shipped with the product is in broken english, but workable. The manual as well as user interface implies you can set either a low or high alarm, but it appears you must set both or the alarm sounds. Thus, after a bit of frustration, I was able to get this product doing what I needed. I am using it to warn me if my outdoor wood boiler runs out of wood or stops making heat for any other reason. I taped the sensor on the return pipe in the basement, and mounted the box above a light switch. I like that it has a replacable battery and that the cord is long enough - around 5ft.

Manual says you can enable/disable either the low or high alarm only, but it appears you must enable/disable both. Thus if you want an alarm only on a too cool condition and the temperature may safely exceed the maximum temperature of the alarm (158F), you cannot use this alarm. Or if you want the alarm on too-hot, but the temperature can safely drop below the minimum (-58F), you cannot use this alarm.

Your better off buying the one thats $19.99, wish I had. Its WAY over priced, I guess I was thinking its almost $60.00 it has to be a good one, WRONG !!!! Save your money.
