Open Up The Whole World,
By Sister Susie "Viewer 11 11" (Carbondale, IL, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Remote Viewing: The Complete User's Manual for Coordinate Remote Viewing (Hardcover)
For anyone who has experienced unexplained phenomena, such as the increasing incidents of synchronicities, powerful dreams or insights, visits from angels or deceased loved ones, or who has had the sense that there was an invisible world we have access to, yet can only vaguely sense or feel, following the instructions in this book will confirm to you that we are more than the physical. You frequently hear of a person thinking of their friend right before the friend calls, or dreaming of an event before it occurs. We don't want to chalk these things up to "coincidence" and leave it at that. David Morehouse states that this is his intention in writing this book. Once you are remote-viewing a target distant in space and time, you have the ability to know, for the rest of your life, that you are more than the physical. Beyond any beauty a particular target may hold, or any interest or curiosity you take with you as a traveler, you also will be able to keep that knowledge, and it will provide peace during difficult times in your life.
I once read a quote by a rabbi, who was addressing what it means to have a relationship with God, or to feel that you are part of Creation, part of an interconnected universe. He said, it's better to know God, than to believe in God. If you don't conceive of a "God," whatever word seems appropriate to you -- a source of light; the Creator. He said to think of your faith as regards gravity. We don't say we "believe" in gravity. If we drop a pencil, we "know" it will fall to the ground, we don't "believe" it will fall. In forming a relationship with the great beyond, the true path is one of knowing, not of belief. To Know God, to Know that we are not just our bodies, provides comfort and an expanded view of life. We are able to see our life, even through difficult times, through this lens, and see a greater purpose to our experiences. I have read a number of books promising to help the reader to astral travel, lucid dream, meet your spirit guide, uncover your past lives, and even remote view. These books seldom do much to assist a person who doesn't already have those gifts and skills to progress. There is a predominance in such literature of presupposing the reader can make vast leaps in action. Whole areas are glossed over, and the reader struggles to catch up. I have never gotten anywhere with such books. Morehouse's book is different. He has tweaked a protocol developed by the U.S. Military, so you can know that it is solid, cohesive, structured, linear and easy to follow. They did not Remote View in an airy-fairy, lightweight environment of half-truths and confusion. They followed a very strictly developed protocol, in which all contingencies are planned for; all potential difficulties that can arise have a response, by the Viewer. By following the instructions, which Morehouse simply lays out, the Viewer can indeed produce the same results as the Militarily-trained Viewers who came before. And as Morehouse explains, the effect of Morphic Resonance will increase your own natural potential as a Viewer. This is the effect that you might have observed, yet never heard confirmed to be real: the reason why, if you attempt to complete the daily crossword puzzle at the end of the day, or the day following its run in the newspaper, you complete it so much more quickly, and with greater ease, than if you had started it on the morning of its run. Once the information is "out there," it is available to all, and the more who access it, study it, ponder it and draw from it, the more you have access to the ideas they developed. The same is true in all areas of life, and Remote Viewing as well. Morehouse himself trained 23,000 students at his workshops, and it is unknown how many formally trained Military Viewers came before his students. Then there are all of those who have learned by reading this book. Each new generation of Viewers, he states, has the ability to build upon the skill, knowledge and training of the individuals who came before them, and it streamlines the process for the beginner. He very humbly states that new Viewers have the advantage of beginning in a place that is already superior to the place to which he has progressed, due to the effects of Morphic Resonance. Imagine Leonardo da Vinci, brilliant sculptor, painter, mathematician, inventor, architect and scientist, attempting to write a theorem which proved that 1+1=2. According to legend, this series of proofs took him 1,000 handwritten pages to complete. No one had come before him! He was not working in an area that drew from the effects of Morphic Resonance. This could explain how such a simple issue could require 1,000 pages to prove. Working today, with our vast knowledge of mathematics, how long would the same theorem take to prove, if one started from scratch and did not refer to da Vinci's work? I encourage anyone who has desired to know, not to believe, and not to rest in faith, to read this book. Whatever your practices wind up being, as regards to Remote Viewing, or whether you continue with it for any length of time, I do believe it will provide you with the unshakable foundation that will create for you a peaceful and purpose-filled life. It gives you a sense of certainty that is so difficult to come by. And we could all use some of that!

I've been waiting for this book for a lonnnng time. Im a remote viewer who uses the military method (CRV) and to date the only resources I have are the (internet) military manual and my memories of training. This book covers the theory and all the separate training parts of the process in full detail. The perfect companion to anyone wanting to learn the military approach to remote viewing. Packed full of discussions and theory on how it all works, full example remote viewing sessions and much more.
Well done a great book for any potential psychic spies library.

Very Interesting,
This review is from: Remote Viewing: The Complete User's Manual for Coordinate Remote Viewing (Hardcover)
1. Well Organized into a textbook format straight forward. I had read a comment about the author on another review to question his sanity because of something else written by him but this book to me is professional like I said a very textbook format which is kinda wierd something like remote viewing being written about like its 8th grade math. The book covers the different stages up to stage 5. The book really is manual as it follows a procedural organization with explanations and also exploring and it seems proving the existence of a connected field of conciousness.
2. Is the book a how to book yes absolutely and much more chock full of information examples pictures. Overall a serious book on as it seems from the authors point of view a serious subject as he does take the subject serious while he is realistic which is refreshing because some books on the mind are so full of themselves he however delivers the information in a textbook way not trying to sell anything just telling how its done a good start to learning how to remote view.

Remote Viewing: Keep An Open Mind!,

This review is from: Remote Viewing: The Complete User's Manual for Coordinate Remote Viewing (Hardcover)
I read this book cover to cover twice. I got more out of it on the second read, after I had let the concepts gestate for a few weeks. All people have the ability to view events distant in time and space to their physical location. I did it by accident for the first time in March of 1987. In this book, David Morehouse details how important it is to create pathways from the conscious mind to the unconscious mind. I take this quite literally--that I must use the Remote Viewing protocols to establish neural pathways between my conscious and unconscious abilities.
I've read another review where the author states that knowledge of quantum physics is necessary to understand the course, and that the CRV training course does not teach you to "do-it-yourself." The first point is false. David Morehouse gives definitions of quantum physical states, and also provides illustrations. The second point is true, but it is out of context. Remote Viewing is a team activity, not a solo sport--you cannot do it by yourself! Remote Viewing as a practice takes at least two people--one person to create a viewing target, and the other to view the target. Ultimately you will come away with the understanding that the human mind can tap into energetic frequencies that escape the most sophisticated electronic equipment in existence! You are more than the physical world allows!

This review is from: Remote Viewing: An Introduction to Coordinate Remote Viewing (Audio CD)
I just got an email about this new product and judging from the description, Sounds True has taped David Morehouse's lectures. I studied with David Morehouse and read his book and found him to be clear, concise, and concerned about his students. Since remote viewing is a real phenomena, Morehouse is also concerned about how this metaphysical gift is used as a military weapon. Going into the "field," as it is called, is exciting. Remote viewing and David Morehouse's CDs are for anyone who wants to explore the part of the brain that we barely use. It is especially useful for medical practioners who want to be more intuitive.

I am a bit of a skeptic. I've run the gamut of New Age hocus pocus and been consistently disappointed. I know there is more to reality than Newtonian Physics but have had a real hard time pursuing knowledge that did not lead to UFO's of Channeling for Fun. Finally, David provides a scientific methodology to pursue what is behind the veiled curtain. I enjoyed his description of the Matrix and enjoyed the fragments of insight he provides throughout the text. Each chapter supplied more information on how the universe functions. I am just beginning so I cannot attest to how well the method works but compared to what I have seen on You Tube, he is very concise and complete. What have I got to lose, right?
I would recommend the book to anyone who seeks a more balanced perspective of reality and where we as humans fit into the picture. I look forward to the journey.

Excellent workbook,
This review is from: Remote Viewing: The Complete User's Manual for Coordinate Remote Viewing (Hardcover)
There has been a need for a good workbook on the arcane subject of remote viewing. Thankfully, Dr. Morehouse saw the need. This is a much needed adjunct to a class in coordinate remote viewing. Since the methodology and protocols are so important, this book fills a void for the student that allows them to review and practice what they learned in a teacher moderated class at their own pace. Although not a remote viewing course in itself, it would be indispensible for the student taking a course in remote viewing.
