I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and my living area is seperated from my roommates by plywood walls...my poster stayed up on the wall for about an hour.

These did not work to hang my plain, unframed posters. I used at least 4 on each poster, after cleaning off the surface they would hang on. After about an hour, my posters had flopped off and fallen. At first I thought it was the textured cinderblock that I was trying to hang the posters on. However, after I tried hanging them with new mounting squares on the smooth wood of my closet, they still fell of within an hour. Perhaps it's the two surfaces I tried to hang posters on, but these did not work for me at all.

I love these for hanging posters or putting on the corner of picture frames that don't want to stay level, all without messing up your wall. They can be hard to find in stores, so I was happy to find them here and with Prime too (not sure they're worth it for the shipping the other reviewer paid!).

Poster mounting double sided tape. My posters are still up well after 6 months. I have used this brand before and they dont damage the poster if removed appropriately.

These things are incredible at keeping posters well attched to the wall for years, but then pealing off when you want them do, and not taking the back of the poster with them. Need I say more? Some of the people suprised they dont hold a pound? Well of course not. It's tape, not screws anchored into wall studs. They will however hang a paper poster for years. I have them all over my house. I just wish I had these in college, intead of using tape that damgaged the posters when I had to take them off.

I would give this product zero stars if possible, but under the circumstances I gave it brownie points for letting one of my posters stay up for this month. My mother had purchased 4 packs of Scotch Removable Mounting Squares so I can put posters and decorations up without damaging the walls of my dorm room. I had put 4 mounting squares on a poster. It literally fell within the first hour. After the first month, I got sick of it and put on 8 mounting squares. Still fell.

That's not the end of the story. I had purchased a corkboard that wasn't truly that heavy. I put 8 on. it fell within the hour. I put 16 on and it within the week. I just gave up and put 3M command strips and it seems to be working fine (alas, costing me some money from my broke pockets).

But, everyone's different. maybe my packages were in a horrible condition or something.

These mounting squares are a must especially if you cannot mar your wall (in other words "rentals"). I have used these squares abundantly. And, I will continue to use them more and more and more. They are most effective. I have lots of decorations on my walls and these squares keep them in place AND they don't effect the paint nor structure of the walls. These squares are a God-send.

These worked for what I had worked perfectly!!!! The packaging says this only hold up to one pound hangings but my white board is about 3 and a half pounds and its perfectly up and most importantly not falling!

These 3M Removable squares are great for temporary art displays with little residue and no wall disruption or discoloration. These aren't to be used for framed works, just matted or plain sheets. Just be certian not to purchase the permanant type by mistake.

Product is excellent. Package was a little ratty looking becuase it was mailed in a regular envelope all wrapped up in clear shipping tape for $1.41 - - - - they charged me $4.85 for shipping so they made a profit on just the shipping that's for sure!
