This modem works fine, but I have been calling for help on setting up telephony and there has been no response. If you just need a modem, it seems to be good.

If you're thinking of buying this modem for use with Comcast's telephone and internet service, don't. Comcast uses DOCSIS 3.0 devices for VOIP (telephone), while this modem is only DOCSIS 2.0 compliant. They won't let you use it in place of their leased modem.

I could not get the unit to work with my Charter cable service. Buyer beware, I don't think it will work for you at all.
