Nurse Stimpy: Shamefully underrated by R&S fans, this hilarious episode actually is hilarious. There are some classic gags, and the art isn't as flat as some think, though one of the close-ups are slightly flat. ****1/2

I will deal by episode:

Nurse Stimpy: Shamefully underrated by R&S fans, this hilarious episode actually is hilarious. There are some classic gags, and the art isn't as flat as some think, though one of the close-ups are slightly flat. ****1/2

Powdered Toastman bumper: Basically a bumper that is a clip from the episode PTM. Probabley the best moment of the episode.

Ren's Toothache: A well animated, hilarious short where Ren claims he never brushed his teeth, only to find them fall out. Watch the scenes where he has to deal with it, ha ha ha. *****

The Cat That Laid the Golden Hairball: Ren is notified that hairballs are becoming valuble, and exploits Stimpys idiocy by making him cough up hairballs to box them up and get money off them. Funny stuff ****1/2

Bottom line: A nearly perfect video on the duo. Find it if you can.

4.0 out of 5 stars OOOOO... That Is So Stinky, April 14, 2003
This review is from: Ren & Stimpy : Volume 3 - The Stinkiest Stories [VHS] (VHS Tape)
There are some things in a animated cartoon that make them so unique. It has to come within a good sense of humor, joy and laughter, but also being as smelly and as disgraceful as you could possibly imagine. With Ren & Stimpy, they fit that mold quite elequently and thensome. Since their debut in 1991, they've been known as one of the most dynamic and unique cat and dog duo ever made. Surprisingly, it is the way they handle some of the most silly episodes you'd ever imagine.

The 1993 video, The Stinkiest Stories was the third Ren & Stimpy video ever made, but this was the beginning of their stinky escapades. It comes down a bit smellier with Ren's Toothache. They usually say it is important for you to brush your teeth at least twice a day. Ren refuses to brush his, because he thinks the idea is so crazy. Crazy or not, Ren loses all his teeth, and finds out that his mouth has stinky breath. That isn't all, when Ren puts his nerve-endings under his pillow, he prays that he gets new teeth, but gets lint instead.

The second cartoon is in another similar problem with the cat & dog duo. Nurse Stimpy, tells the story of Stimpy taking very good care of Ren while he is recovering from being ill. Unfortunately, as Ren gets better, he recieves a difficult relapse, as he finds out he is on the cover of every newspapaer in the area. It just puts a strain on Stimpy to get Ren better again. Although Stimpy gets Ren better, he gets sick in the process. Then, it will be up to Nurse Ren to the rescue.

The final cartoon, The Cat That Laid The Golden Hairball, Ren gets tired of Stimpy's hairball raid, at the start, but he changes the feeling, once he finds out that the value of hairballs are possibly higher than gold. Because of which, he asks Stimpy to lick off all his hair. Although it leaves a lot of hairballs, Stimpy loses the ability to produce his instince as a cat of hairballs. It gets a lot stranger, as Ren asks Stimpy to take off his own hair, and even Ren's nephew Bubba. Because of which, his hairball gland expires all the way to dust.

It is just a shame that they don't make anymore Ren & Stimpy cartoons anymore. They were just some of the best things that have come out of television, since the beginning of the 1990's. Hopefully, the cat & dog duo will be born all over again. It might possibly be stinky again, but it would just be a wonderful joy. We all could use a little stinky time again.
