I have a 65 gallon angel fish tank, and this is the one component in the filter that needs to be changed on a fairly regular basis. They do a wonderful job of filtering out the smallest bits of debris that get past the other filter components.

Part of the Filstar filtering system. I use this in an XP3 on a 65G tank

Pros:
- Cheap-ish
- Work great on my tank
- Really take that last bit of gunk out of the water

Cons:
- Don't clean very well compared to the non-micro filters (I only re-use them once)
