Very clear and easy to follow directions. Simple pattern, easy enough for a young girl to help. Beautiful outfit, many options for customizing this to make several items in a doll's wardrobe. The under dress made wonderful pajamas. Comes with both American Girl and slim body sizes! Great value for this item (other patterns go for as much as $30, with just one size). (I can't wait to get the Karito Kids doll to see if this fits, but I am betting it will.)

I just finished our 3rd outfit from this pattern. They all turned out just wonderful. Pattern was easy to read. Perfect activity for mother/daughter to do. I did this with my friend's daughter (I have none of my own), and we cut it one evening and completed it the next. It was her first time sewing, and she had a ball. I asked her if she wanted to do it again and she squealed and hugged me, all the time hopping up and down. When I asked her if it was to hard she said "Easy Cheesy Rice and Peasy" ... I guess that is 8 year old for "Easy and fun".

HIGHLY recommended.
