About the Author

Andy Nelson is the author/illustrator of the highly-acclaimed series of educational coloring books which includes The Impressionists Coloring Book, and The Carl Larsson Coloring Book. He also illustrated the children's book, A Is For At Bat: A Baseball Primer. A native of McIntosh, Minnesota, Andy is a former public school art teacher and weekly newspaper editor. Since 1993 he has painted murals at minor league baseball parks. He has two daughters and four grandchildren.

I'm an art therapist at a nursing home and was looking for adult coloring pages for my residents. While the attention to detail is beautiful, the images were a little complicated. The contour lines are confusing and unnecessary at times. But if you are an artist who can't draw or want someone else to define the contours than these are you books.
