5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous, inspiring designs
I am very happy with this book. I am not a graphic designer so the issue of having rights is of no matter to me. I am a jewelry designer and I use pattern books to help me draw out designs when I'm making wire or metal designs. The designs are beautiful...there is a good variety with a bit of repetition...what I mean by that is there is a flow to the book so if you...

I bought this book/CD-ROM intending to use the patterns in my graphic design work. I had assumed (wrongly) that these images would be permission-free. After receiving the book I learned that use of Agile Rabbit Editions' graphics in a professional capacity requires permission from the publisher. I have found this permission process takes several days--a major problem when working under a short deadline. Depending on the usage, there may also be a fee in addition to the initial cost of the book. If you want a ready-to-use copyright-free graphic resource, then you're better off sticking with the books put out by Dover Publishing.

I am very happy with this book. I am not a graphic designer so the issue of having rights is of no matter to me. I am a jewelry designer and I use pattern books to help me draw out designs when I'm making wire or metal designs. The designs are beautiful...there is a good variety with a bit of repetition...what I mean by that is there is a flow to the book so if you flip through each page you will see gradual shifts in the designs. The colors used are gorgeous, too. The design on the cover isn't really all that great compared to the rest of the book. I love it!
