Product Description

The wide-bore recorder is substantially louder than Baroque style recorders, and even richer than most wooden Renaissance recorders.

The range of sopraninos and sopranos is two octaves plus, of altos one octace and a sixth. Same fingering as for Baroque recorders.

A thumbrest, fingering chart and a vinyl carrying bag are included.

If in doubt about which key to get, c is the most common for recorders and should be chosen unless another key is specifically needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars very good playing recorder, July 31, 2007
This review is from: Renaissance Style Wide-Bore Recorder, Soprano in c"
I purchased this soprano recorder several years ago along with a few of their whistles.I have never owned a high end recorder;but do own a few of the better plastic models [aulos;yamaha].I have been playing recorders for several years and would like to do some recording in the future.I have had very little problem with clogging and I have played for hours.I find it very easy to articulate high notes without squeaking;and with a moderate amount of breath control easy to play in tune.I can't imagine someone having these problems unless they got a faulty instrument. It has a very robust sound through the whole range.
