Witherspoon stars as the American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer who disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington. The woman desperately tries to track her husband down, while a CIA analyst (Gyllenhaal) at a secret detention facility outside the U.S. is forced to question his assignment as he becomes party to the maníc, unorthodox interrogation.
Mark Kilian and Paul Hepker lend their breathtaking score to Gavin Hood s film in an integral way similiar to their work on his Academy Award®-winning film, Tsotsi. Their mixing of traditional orchestral composition, beautiful vocal phrasing and contemporary techniques create a unique musical experience.

a rare ost.,

I didn't see the movie yet and I'm not familiar with mr kilian work but I bought this ost with the hope that finaly I will make the right choice and I'll actually enjoy the music.guess what:I'm thrilled!!it's a realy fine soundtrack.sad,intense and in the same time powerfull.this soundtrack doesn't need the movie.it can stand up for itself.buy it and I guarantee you will be more then satisfied with it,you'll be moved.
so bravo for the composer and I look forward to listen his future compositions.
