Product Description

These delicious nasturtiums have buttercream-colored blossoms, each marked at the throat with a delicate etching in deep strawberry. The top-setting, spurred flowers shine above blue-green, lilypad-shaped leaves, and the mounding plants drape softly to cover empty garden spaces or gracefully fill in windowboxes and patio planters. Carefree Vanilla Berry's leaves and blossoms are edible with a watercress-like flavor, perfect as a spicy garnish to top salads or fancy open-faced sandwiches.

Love Renee's vanilla berry nasturium seeds. You can sow them directly into soil when it warms up and they're totally hassle free. Even brown thumb gardeners can grow them (just follow the simple directions on the packet). Besides their beauty you can also eat them. They're a tad sweet and look lovely in summer salads of butter lettuce and herbs. High germination rate. Use good potting soil and do NOT fertilize for maximum blooms. Also a good seed project for young gardeners; seeds are easy to handle for little hands.
