I use my V950 quite heavily. I don't use the internet or texting on this phone, but for talk time this battery works for me. The standard battery gave me about one day of use, the extended battery gives me 3-4 days of use before needing a recharge. The extra thickness the battery adds to the phone makes it more comfortable for my large hands and it still clips into the factory belt clip. I would recommend this to anyone who needs longer talk time on their Motorola V950 phone.

UPDATE 9/22/2010 - I did find out one thing about this battery, my phone has PTT disabled, since I didn't need that option. And I get 3-4 days on a charge. I had my carrier enable PTT and my battery life dropped to about 2 days before needing to be recharged. The carrier said because now two radios are running at the same time, battery life will be shorter. I put the original battery back on the phone to see what would happen. I got about 9 hours of use with just a little PTT use, anyone using both CDMA and PTT will probably need this battery, but that's just my opinion.

Product actually appears to be what it says it is. The battery works fine and holds a charge well. The battery door is rubber coated and matches the rest of the phone and has a Motorola logo stamped in it. I've had no problems with this purchase.

Well if you have the V950 you know that the battery is HORRIBLE and will not last u one day without turning off, but besides that it is a very nice phone and is worth keeping. I think if you have invested some money on a nice phone you might want to be able to use it right?! this battery actually last you 1 and a half days before the phone starts whining that it will shut off... even then it still gives u some time before it shut off.

Watch this seller. Seller sent me a 3 1/2 year old battery. I contacted the seller to send me a new battery, which is what they advertise. The seller then sent me a 2 1/2 year old battery. I contacted the seller once again, and the seller said they would credit me the purchase price. I now have a 3 1/2 & 2 1/2 year old battery, which will not hold a charge longer than 6 hours. I still have to order a replacement, but not from this seller...... Seller should have done more than just credit the purchase price.

It's great! I went through two of the regular batteries and they would lose life quickly. This one will show a full battery for almost two days straight and it will last for more than three before I need to recharge it again. I have to recharge at irregular intervals and due to this my batteries haven't lasted very long, but this one is outstanding.

I bought a pair of these for two of our phones that had gotten to the point where they had to be charged twice a day. They arrived quickly and fit perfectly, and now the phones can make it multiple days on one charge. This vendor's price was about half the price of Radio Shack. Everyone is very happy with their new batteries.

This battery made a huge diffence in the ability to use my phone and all its functions. I no longer worry about my battery.

No more recharging my standard battery during the day. Now I put my phone on the charger overnight and I am confident that my phone will be able to perform any function I request during the day without worrying about it running out of juice!

Extended battery has improved my phone to a large degree. It doesn't run out of power even with extended voice and direct connect usage

Maybe something is wrong with my phone, but this extended battery did not give my phone any more extra power. It fits well into the phone and the cover is grand. Your mileage may vary. Cheers.
