I LOVED 'RENEGADE'. AS AN AVID READER, I HAVE ENJOYED MANY MANY BOOKS, INCLUDING SEVERAL OF MS. PIEL'S. THIS HAS TO BE HER BEST YET. I HAVE DEFINETLY PUT THIS ON MY 'KEEPER' SHELF. I REREAD IT AND ENJOYED IT EVEN MORE THE SECOND TIME AROUND. ITS VERY REFRESHING TO FIND AN AUTHOR WHO CAN WRITE HUMOR AND SEX WITHOUT FILTH. ANYONE WHO ENJOYS BOOKS THAT MAKE YOU MISS THE CHARACTERS ( MAIN AND EXTRAS), WHEN YOU FINISH THE BOOK, READ "THE RENEGADE", ITS A TRULY GREAT FIND.

MS. PIEL HAS DONE IT AGAIN. SHE HAS WRITTEN A BOOK WHOSE CHARACTERS REACH OUT AND GRAB YOU. I FOUND MYSELF LAUGHING OUT LOUD SEVERAL TIMES. THE INNOCENCE OF SOME AND THE QUIRKS OF OTHERS MAKE THIS BOOK A TRUE "KEEPER" . THE MAIN MALE CHARACTER HAS SHADES OF 'ZORRO', WITH A MORE HUMAN TOUCH. IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A GOOD READ THAT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND MAKES YOU WANT TO NOT PUT IT DOWN, READ 'RENEGADE', YOU WILL BE VERY PLEASED. I AM WAITING NOT SO PATIENTLY TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO SOME OF THE MINOR CHARACTERS, WHO ARE VERY STRONG IN THEIR OWN WAYS. KEEP 'EM COMING MS. PIEL, THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.

Having read several excellent stobie piel books, this was a disappointment. Our hero was unique. Loved his nearsightedness and his gentle character. Evie was very spirited and really fiesty. Didn't like the "de ja vu indian lore" aspect of the book. Got half way thru the book but when the hero, our zorro, asks Evie, "how was I" after a night of seemingly supernatural sexual satisfaction, I was turned off..........sorry stobie. However your 2 civil war books were outstanding!!!

Each time I read Ms. Piel, I am surprised and refreshed by her new and innovative ideas. I find her books to be fun and entertaining. The book 'Renegade" is the best yet. The characters are delightful. I found myself laughing out loud on numerous occasions. I very much look forward to the sequel to this book. After all, who among us can resist a 'Zorro" type man? Not me!!! Keep up the good work Ms. Piel, and don't keep us waiting for the next "KEEPER" to come out.

A wonderful fresh plot. Rafael, aka the Renegade, isn't just dreamy and delicious, he's a real hero that will keep you up at night reading about him. Thanks Ms. Piel for another wonderful book.
