I have tried different probiotics. I have ulcerative colitis and taking 2 capsules/day plus vitamin d3 stopped a flare up from fully manifesting.
Amazing product. I will be taking this forever! I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Long term antibiotic therapy with three different meds at the same time has destroyed the good bacteria in my digestive system. Without using the Ultimate Flora plus Culturelle probiotics I was unable to properly process the nutrition I was taking in. So happy to find them online as it is difficult for me to get outside. I have been fighting with my poorly behaved digestive tract for 5 years now. I've been to doctor after doctor to no avail. They tell me it's in my head and I was beginning to believe them until I found this probiotic. It has made my grumpy stomach perfectly happy. No more running to the bathroom or fear of leaving the house. It is worth every penny to have my life back.

A relative recommended these to me after they basically fixed some major gastrointestinal issues (literally docs were talking about needing surgery, then they try these and boom they've been functioning fine for 6 or 8 months provided they take them daily).

If you've thought you might benefit from probiotics before but haven't noticed much difference I recommend giving these a try with the 50 bil dose. Most probiotics out there do not contain enough punch to really help the guts that need it the most. These do.

I had a little sticker shock the first time I pulled them up, then I thought about the fact that if the doc gave us an rx for something that was an effective treatment we'd end up paying this much (or more!) for the prescription anyway. Plus this way we're not contributing to the rising costs of health care :D And forget about the co-pay to see the doc, possibly another co-pay for a specialist, the hours away from work to get to these appointments... sure our first choice would be to have no need of them but these things look like a better and better deal all the time!

Another reason I like having these around is on the (rare) occasion we need antibiotics. Antibiotics are like micro-flora napalm, they don't distinguish between harmful and helpful. One of the reasons people so often get secondary infections on antibiotics is because the antibiotics are not primarily augmenting the body's immune system they are primarily trying to replace it so when the antibiotics run out you are (until your system recovers) without much "infection defense" of any kind. However, since the majority of the immune system is in the digestive tract (where we are very vulnerable to most infections entering as food-borne illness) taking probiotics is a great way to sustain / augment / replenish your immune system in addition to general digestive health. In other words, probiotics are supposed to supplement your immune system's digestive duties so it can concentrate on other infections, knock out potential infections IN the digestive track (for instance e. coli from a chicken contamination that wants to give you the runs), and quickly replenish your system if you have an infection that requires prescription antibiotics. I can vouch from my own experience that probiotics have helped me recover within an hour or two after eating something that was making others who ate with me sick for the next 12-18 hours (and while I take no pleasure in a friend's illness, I must admit it is gratifying at some level to be in better shape after being written off a hogwash naturopathy, and it makes a great time to mention some extra vitamin D for us Michigan office workers isn't a bad idea either...)

Update 9 or so months later: My wife is still taking these. Every time she stops because "it's been fine for a while now" lo and behold problems start back up. It's still a lot cheaper than going to the doc and paying for prescriptions, plus it's much more convenient to not have to be mindful of exact restroom locations and distances after any imperfect meal

I have suffered for years with IBS, and has gotten worse as I've grown older. The constant bloating, gas, and constipation affected my quality of life. I always had headaches, and just generally felt awful. I first discovered this product at a local nutrition store. I had tried other probiotics in the past with no luck. I was skeptical about the price at first. But within the first week of using this product, my symptoms had diminished greatly. Not to be gross, but I started having regular bowel movements that completely evacuated me. It was great. During that time, I was prescribed an antibiotic for a sinus infection. Normally, I would end up with a yeast infection after taking the antibiotic. This time I had no problems whatsoever. My mom is now taking this,and I'm putting my teenage daughter on it because she has had symptoms of IBS since she was 7 or 8.

This is a wonderful product!

We make sure every member of our family takes one of these every morning and that we never run out. It has been our experience that when we stop taking it, we get sinus infections, colds, flus, etc. and end up spending far more on doctor visits and prescription medicines than we do on the Pro-biotic. We take it first thing in the morning with as little water as possible and wait 20 minutes before adding anything else to our systems. It is expensive, but it is worth it in the long run!

My doctor directed me to start taking these recently after I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue. They are the first step in my treatment and are already making a dramatic difference! I find that I have lost the cravings for sugar and other carbs that have plagued me for years. My energy level has already picked up a wee bit, too. And I've lost some of the GI symptoms from which I've suffered. While not a cure-all, I highly recommend these to other people.

Arrived promptly but failed to work at all. It needs to be refrigerated and was not in any kind of cooling wrapping during the shipping. May be that's why it did not work. The ones I purchased at Whole Food worked as promised.

Some lady at a heath food store recommended these to me while I had been battling a tough case of ulcerative colitis. I began taking one capsule twice per day. Within a few days, my ulcerative colitis was completely gone. This was the fastest I had ever seen my symptoms go from full blown to non-existent. For the past year, I have not had one episode of full blown ulcerative colitis. I have only needed to take one capsule on a few occasions when my symptoms would begin to come back. Each time, my symptoms would be gone by the next day. Ultimate Flora is my miracle cure!

I've taken many probiotics over the years on and off because they're supposed to be good for you but as with many supplements I never felt any benefits. Then in the past few years I developed IBS and the probiotics did nothing to help as far as I could tell. My doctor recommended a new one and even that made no discernible difference. Then I stumbled upon Ultimate Flora Critical Care and in the first day!!! it made a huge difference. A few months later I still take one every evening and I recommend this to anyone with gastro issues. I also manage my IBS through diet but I was already doing that and it was about 60% better. Now it's about 90% better. I am soooo happy, one pill per day has literally changed my life. If you've ever lived with IBS you know what I mean. I can't recommend this strongly enough.
