This book is well-written, simple to understand, and thoroughly based on God's Word. This is a MUST-READ for anyone who has professed a belief in Jesus Christ. Many "Christians" believe in God but they never take the vital step following their confession of faith in Jesus Christ which is to RENEW their minds in accordance with God's Word; consequently, they miss out on God's purpose for their lives, have weak testimonies, and their hypocritic (perhaps due to lack of knowledge) lifestyles blend with non-believers. Your mind MUST BE RENEWED in order to not be CONFORMED to the world (satan's earthly kingdom of rebellion), so that you can be TRANSFORMED (Romans 12:1, 2). This book will cause you to inventory your lifestyle. For example, if your mind is being renewed with God's Word, your appetite for pleasure and entertainment will change. With a renewed mind, you will eventually (it is a process) find the utmost "pleasure" in pleasing God. With a renewed mind, you will become more discerning and convicted about the television programs and movies you watch, books you read, and music you listen to, the company you keep, that blatantly promote what God says is sin--adultery, fornication, living together outside of marriage, divorce, homosexuality, murder, stealing, idolatry, etc--because as a "new" creature in Christ Jesus, your appetite for "worldliness" will have been replaced (remember, renewing the mind is a never-ending process) with an appetite for "godliness." Author Casey Treat shares his personal eye-opening experience and offers thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter which will challenge and give insight to your relationship (or lack of relationship) with God.

Excellent piece of work. Clearly written, easily understood. A biblically - based, practical approach to finding greater spiritual depth. I HIGHLY recommend it.
