Renoir's Table
Part of a series presenting history, art, everyday habits, surroundings, and meals of French artists like Renoir. Very well done with great photos and recipes. Series also covers Cezanne, VanGogh and Monet.

Lovely, but the Monet and Morris versions are better
A lovely to look at book, but the recipes are complicated and might not appeal to 21st century cooks. I also did not get a good feel for the times from the pictures. I would rather own an art book specifically about Renoir or the Impressionists. I have many of these historical, picturesque cookbooks and would recommend the Claude Monet or William Morris versions before...
