This Interactive Student Edition is very much tailored for the teenager. Though the themes of the the original edtion authored completely by Willard (this is co-authored with Randy Frazee) remain in tact, the depth at which those themes are discussed and the philosophical and theological weight is just not present in this edition. It has the perks of having very short chapters and therefore being easy to study by reading aloud to a group, but for a more in depth study of transformation of the heart, the original edition of Rennovation of the Heart is at a whole level higher.

This study is great for Youth Group small groups, especially (but not necessarily) if you have read the actual book. I am a Youth Pastor at an average sized church and am taking our youth leadership team (teens that are leaders in the group) through this study. it certainly does not have the depth of the full book exegetically speaking, but it is still quite deep and provides for wonderful points of conversation and in turn has given way to wonderful growth for our teens. I absolutely love Willards teaching and his passion for Christians to live as Christ! if this is something you want to see in your youth then this is the study for you!

This is a great book. Very practical for living a life of freedom. Very analytical of the society we live in and what ails us.

The real danger in this book is it focuses the Believer on "man" and what he can/can't do, instead of on Christ.
