I've been having BV constantly, idk why....I am tired of having to go to the doctor all the time so I searched for something that would get rid of the fishy odor and this worked so well. I dont smell anything at all anymore and I am able to walk past someone or sit next to someone without thinking they can smell it. I pride myself on personal hygiene and with BV no matter how much you wash you cant get rid of the smell, but with this product NO SMELL:)

This product works wonderfully for women who have a problem controlling the natural balance of bacteria and as a result experience odor, discharge or irritation. One pack comes with 4 tampon-like gel filled applicators, each which lasts for 3 days (12 total days for a pack). If you wear tampons, applying the gel is just as easy-- insert, deposit, remove plastic applicator. It totally calms down all the discomforts associated with bacterial imbalance. The problem is that after the application expires, somewhere around the 4th or 5th day all the symptoms will return unless you reapply the gel. Most drug stores sell them for between $16-19 (at least in my region) which can get pretty expensive considering that you'd need two boxes to make the whole month using them consistently. That can average from $33-$40 p/month for 24 calendar days. It would be wonderful if continual usage would improve the longterm vaginal pH over time but this product makes no such claims. So overall it's great while you are using it but pricey with no longterm benefits.

I really wanted to like this product.... it keeps the odors out completely but it's a temporary thing ant if you used it constantly it might actually make some improvement in the your condition but it's too expensive. I've found that vaginal vitamin c tablets work wonders, so much better than this product.

It took me quite awhile to find the ingredients for RepHresh Vaginal Gel. Why is that I wonder? No list on Amazon. None on Walmart. No list on the manufacturers website - why not? Why hide it and make us search for it? I eventually found it on drugstore dot com site. It's loaded with unhealthy parabens that's why. And you are going to stick that in a highly absorbent, rich with blood vessels, place? I don't think so.

I have tried this product twice (ie 2 different applications for 2 different BV infections) and have had the same results both times: It works well the first few days to reduce symptoms. However, on the the third day, this product triggers my period to start early even though I use birth control pills (while I'm still taking the hormone doses, not the placebo week doses!) So I am not going to recommend this product. It sounds like it has worked for some people though. Another product, BV Essentials, had a similar effect on me. I've been reading reviews on Gy-Na-Tren and comparing ingredients between the three products..Gy-Na-Tren seems to have fewer ingredients and seems like a more natural approach. I tried to treat the BV with probiotics but had to succumb to antibiotics (Fluconazole) for both infections (while eating lots of yogurt and doing yogurt douches daily until a few days after I finished the antibiotics). These three things in combination worked very well. Now I take Fem-Dophilus probiotics for prevention and will write a review on that product on Amazon in a month or two. I know that may be more information than you wanted, but I read all reviews before buying products like these and find details very helpful. Good luck!

This product works for me! I don't have to use it every three days, I can do once a week. Easy to use. Not sticky or messy. Works quickly and really does help my ph balance. A little pricy but worth the money (if you can find it cheaper, even better).

This stuff saved me from going back to my OB/GYN for more for antibiotics (that didn't work). I had a mild case of BV, and when it came back a week after using the RX, I tried the RepHresh. Since then, it's never come back, and its good for 'cleaning' after 'Aunt Flo' comes to visit. The only downside is it's a little gross when the stuff comes out after a couple days after using it. Otherwise, GREAT STUFF!!!

Ever since I got the Mirena birth control I have struggled with constant yest infections. Now that I started using Rephresh regularly it hasn't been a problem. I would definitely recommend this to any woman who is having problems with yeast infections. You may not even need to use monistat at all if your infection is mild, this can clear it out just by correcting you PH.

This product is wonderful for adjusting your Ph to a normal level. It works INSTANTLY. The cheapest I have found it is about $11 for a four pack. Walgreens and CVS try to hit your for almost $20 for a four pack.

My gynocologist recommended this to me when I all of a sudden began getting recurring bacterial vaginosis. I have been using it for about 6 months and I can tell that area is more comfortable. I do not use it every three days like it says, maybe once a week or when I feel I need it (although I admit it would probably work better if I did, but there are only 4 applicators in a box!).

I signed up for the subscribe & save, which saves money and keeps me from having to think about ordering it or picking it up. I definitely recommend the subscribe & save option!
