5.0 out of 5 stars Have an RV? Have a Mechanic that travels with you? No! You need this book.
This is the most worn, curled, shaggy book in my RV book rack. It travels with me and rarely leaves my RV. Mobile living quarters have unique systems, water lines must have some flex. Heaters and fuel supplies have unique requirements. windows, doors and suspension all need continued care and maintenance as all move and flex as the vehicle moves down smooth and rough...

This is the most worn, curled, shaggy book in my RV book rack. It travels with me and rarely leaves my RV. Mobile living quarters have unique systems, water lines must have some flex. Heaters and fuel supplies have unique requirements. windows, doors and suspension all need continued care and maintenance as all move and flex as the vehicle moves down smooth and rough roads alike. I find few shops that are familiar with these unique vehicles out on the road in the remote and rural areas that I travel and camp in. My RV is set up to be self contained and self supporting for remote camping up to three weeks at a time. We are not talking KOA here. No tailgate parties for this rig. This book is my back up.
I have been able to use information from the book that prevents or limits the number of visits to the RV Shops other than to purchase the bling.
The book is easy to understand and is laid out in a sectioned manner that lets you refer to areas such as heating and cooling, electrical, fuel, frame, power plant, interior and exterior lighting etc.

I have been wondering why I pay someone else to do all the work on my RV. This book makes most repairs mine now. No more $200 charge for a $10 part etc.
