How To Repair & Restore Bodywork,
By Clayton W. Randolph (Fulton, Missouri) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Repair and Restore Bodywork (Motorbooks Workshop) (Paperback)
This Book belabors the obvious and is very light on detail oriented, usable information. General overview is good, but you can tell that this person does not have any hands on experience with the subject matter.

The author spends half of the book telling you about the "business" of auto body repair, then glosses over the actual "how-to". I bought the book to learn how to fix simple dents on my vintage car. Looks like I'll have to buy another book to find out how to do that.

I purchased this book before attempting body repairs on my truck. I read it cover to cover before even picking up a hammer or sandpaper. There's tons of great info for the novice, ranging from proper equipment, to simple dent repair, all the way to full blown frame restoration. My body is now straight, and flat. Thanks Motorbooks!!!
