I was skeptical at first, as Canon charges a lot for just the charger, and this package comes with extra batteries as well as the charger and other freebies. However, I figured spending a few bucks on this was worth the risk. I was incredibly surprised at how well everything worked. Not only does the charger charge my original Canon battery (its a tight fit, but no big deal), but the included batteries seem to work as well as the original Canon battery. So now you'll have extra batteries! Definitely buy this package and be amazed before you blow a quarter of the cost of your entire camera on a replacement battery or battery charger!

I purchased this kit because I lost the original battery and charger during a recent trip. This kit was more than I expected and the second battery is a bonus.
PS My original accessories were found a week after this replacement was received but I'm still happy to have the spares.

I purchased this product on the promise that the batteries for the Canon camera could be charged at home, overseas, or by the 12 volt accessory jack in most cars and trucks. Excellent performance. Compact, complete, and reliable.
