Got unit and although advertised to be compatible with Panasonic DMC - ZS7, it is not. Returned for a refund and did not bother trying to get the proper replacement from this company.

It's NOT compatible with the Panasonic Lumix ZS5. Whoever manufactures this charger lists it as compatible, but the battery falls out of the unit. Another reviewer said it didn't work with the ZS7 either; I wonder how many other cameras are incorrectly listed as compatible.

Btw, I've had a hideous time trying to find a charger for the ZS5, and trust me, not for lack of effort. Even Panasonic's own website doesn't list it as an accessory for the camera. Hello??? The only way I know of to get one is to go to Panasonic's Parts department. I've ordered two of them, because the first one failed after less than a month.

I purchased this battery charger for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 but it didn't work for model ZS7. The size of this battery charger is almost the same size of the original one that I lost and it's easy to fit in camera case but too bad it's not work for model ZS7 battery. The reason I rate 3 star is Amazon has a fast response on my return request.

I bought this charger because I couldn't find the original one that came with my camera. It works great with the wall outlet (haven't tried the car adapter yet).

I use it for the Panasonic DMW-BCG10 battery for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS6 and haven't had an issue so far (about 15 - 20 full charges).

I like the collapsible plug and the "charge" indicator light which makes it quite easy to know when a battery is done and you can start charging the next one.

I'd definitively recommend this article. It arrived just as shown on the product page.

We bought this camera enroute to England. Sometime during our return, we lost the charger. The camera only came with one battery and it was new on the market. We were unable to use the camera until we found this replacement charger. (We ordered a second battery, as well.)

I purchased a TZ8 in England and needed a charger in US electrical current. This charger is great. Fast,compact & gets the battery fully charged.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased, I'm a long time user of Amazon and this was one of the few times I didn't.

The description on this item is incorrect it does not work with Panasonic DMC - ZS7. My rating is just based on the poor description. I'm sure it works fine, but if the description is wrong it is useless. Purchased the smart universal charger - works great with the DMC-ZS7 as well as several other batteries. You are better off getting a generic universal replacement charger than one the might work with your item.

This charger works very well and give me the oportunity to charge the battery in the car during a travel. Excellent product

It turned out that I didn't really need the car battery charger for my camera. A friend had a plug adapter (USA to UK), which worked great with the battery charger that came with the Panasonic Lumix camera. It was much easier to use the plug adapter than to use the car battery charger as the car plug was already being used for the GPS
