I am currently on the Weight Watchers program at home. Met-Rx is a great, low-point meal alternative that allows a person to get lean while not sacrificing the protein essential in building and maintaining muscle mass. Our family has used Met-Rx for years and will continue to do so based on the taste, flexibility, and value!

Mixes easy, fills you up and tastes great! Not much more more could you ask for in a MRP.

This is the best meal replacement shake I have ever tasted. The first time, I mixed it with skim milk, but it came out extremely thick, so now I just use water, and it still tastes great. No joke, it tastes almost like chocolate pudding. That, plus the fact that it replaces a meal and contains only 3g of fat, 19g carbs, and 260 calories, and still manages to pack 38g of protein, 3g of fiber, and a ton of vitamins in each serving. And each packet only costs about $1.45. And if you get tired of just chocolate, mix in a scoop of peanut butter with it in a blender. It doesn't get much better than this.

This original Met-RX MR powder has been around forever and is one of the first. Forget all the others that cost more saying their better for this or that reason. This has everything you need by a name you can trust.

The best part? It's now available on Amazon with free shipping! I don't really trust some of the other bodybuilding sites with my credit card and personal information so was pleased to see this is now available from Amazon. I think it's about $10 more than I was paying on another site, but no sales tax and free shipping means I'm ahead. And with my prime membership it's free 2nd day air and only $3.99 overnight so I no longer have to wait a week to get it.

Met-Rx is by far the best meal replacement product I have ever used. I bought both the extreme chocolate and the vanilla, they both taste very good considering what they are and the nutritional value they have. All the stuff your body needs in three thick, filling shakes a day. I am using these to lose weight not to body-build, though I am positive they would work great for that as well since they contain so much good stuff. Once I have completed my dietary process I will update this review with REAL before and after pictures.

After searching for different meal replacement drinks, MET-Rx offers the best value MRD. I'm satisfied with this product. Tastes great and mixes easily with my blender bottle. After taking this for a month, I did notice some significant improvements in my physique.

This stuff is unbelievably good--the very best meal replacement drink mix I've ever tried. And for the price, unbeatable! I'm about to order two more cases. For me, a diet food never tasted better.

This baffles me. They call it a "meal replacement" bar, but there's enough sugar in these to make a big wedding cake. This isn't a meal replacment bar. It's an appetizer with 50 table spoons of sugar. So you get a little protein and enough sugar to ruin any health benefits.

Don't get me wrong, I love the stuff, BUT, when the product is advertised or marketed on Amazon as a "Pack of 42", I expect to receive a box of 42 packets of powder. That's not what I received - my boxes contained only 40 packets of powder. I think this is deceiving. Since Amazon is only advertising the product for sale, the problem is with the seller, DAB Nutrition.

I used the original Met-RX for many years and loved it. The extreme chocolate was not artificially sweetened and was thick rich and tasted great. I have not used it in about 9 years and decided to go back to it since I am back in workout mode. The Met-RX I used in the past is no longer. This stuff is horrible! Artificial tasting and chemically sweetened to boot. What a terrible shame such a wonderful great tasting product now tases horrible like all the rest!
Better to make your own natural shake:
If you want a great protein shake just use a little low fat ricotta cheese about two heaping T., a half frozen banana, a few walnuts, 1 heaping T. psyllium powder for fiber and thickener, and a little cinnamon, add a little ice and cold water and blend. High in whey protein, fiber and it is all natural and tastes great! You can also use natural fruit spreads or peanut butter in this. Forget these over priced artificial chemical mixes make your own!
