Out of the box, this power supply looked great. But after a few months of moderate use, the unit broke and would no longer work. I thought, well, it's under warranty. However, in order to activate the warranty, you need to send $17 shipping and handling (along with the power supply)to Accessory Power. If they find that the malfunction is covered by the warranty, then they send you a new one. If they decide that it's not, they send you the original one back and you're out $17. In the long-run (unless you are a very light user), I think it's more cost effective to go with a genuine HP unit.

We got two of these, so we would not have to move the chargers around. They work great, but popped apart. We taped them with electrical tape.

The product was received on time and I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The adapter is identical to the original and it works well. I am most happy with the price as this item retails at $90 - $120 at other retailers so thanks for saving me some money doing these hard times. I will be purchasing other items from you in the future.

This works fine and seems to keep a full charge on my hp laptop, but it dislodges very easily. Not a big deal. I just have to push the cord back in if I move it, so for the price I am very satisfied. It did, however, take forever and ever amen to get out to me at my FPO/AP address in Japan. It was probably the slowest shipping item of any online purchase I've made so far, and the company sent me several "please review this item" emails starting a month before I actually got it.

This has been a fantastic product and Accessory Genie is a fabulous company to do business with. My kids constantly twist their laptop cords so I've had to replace this several times. Every shopping experience with this company has been great.
