Once installed, the pad is more cushioned and more comfortable than the original headband.

It looks a little odd with all of the middle buttons unsnapped, but it doesn't bother me.

I purchased this for my new set of Monoprice Headphones 8323, which were quite uncomforable. The extra padding is great! It snaps on securely and is much more comfortable.

I'm using this with my Bose QC2 phones. The headband started to crumble, so I stepped it off and replaced it with this item. It's comfortable and even allows the phones to still fit in their travel case.

I guess I'll start this off with my story: The very top of my head, where most of the stress is of course, tends to ache after an hour or so of wearing my Audio Technica ATH-M50's (since their cushioning isn't all that special), so I decided to give this cushioning band a try after seeing someone was using this in a review of some Denon headphones. Probably wouldn't even know about this if it wasn't for that little video.

The cushioning is great. Wore these for about 2-3 hours after getting them, and 1-2 hours today, and the top of my head wasn't hurting at all. The only problem I've see is that it seems to make the ear cups on my headphones tighten around my head more than usual. Don't know what the physics behind this is, but it's just something I noticed, and I'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem. Maybe it's just something to get use to.

I mentioned that these in fact don't fit around my M50's. This is in no way shape or from this product's fault because, the M50's do have a wide band (about 1.5 inches wide, so I'd guess that this would be able to fit around bands that are at least 1.25 inches wide and less, if not all the "snaps," then at least the outside 2). For anyone else that may have this problem, I found that cutting off the flaps that have the "snaps" on them, and finding some adhesive velcro straps, and placing them on the headphone's band, and this thing, to get them to stick together, works beautifully. If not, then maybe just tie this to the band with a couple shoelaces or something lol.

All around great product for anyone that needs a bit of cushioning on the band!

Other thoughts: Probably a solution for larger headbands could be fixed with an updated product with extension flaps with 2 "snaps" (still not sure what else to call them) on each, so one can be used for smaller bands, and the other can be used for larger ones. Just thought I'd say that.

A couple reviews said they had trouble fitting this on their Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, but I couldn't find an equivalent headband pad to replace mine that tore off, so I took the chance and ordered it.
Here's the deal: it is not big enough for the HD 280 Pro headband, HOWEVER, I was able to get the 2 outermost buttons snapped and that's enough to keep the pad snugly in place. It looks a little odd with all of the middle buttons unsnapped, but it doesn't bother me. It is much more comfortable than the bare plastic. There would be no way to fit this cushion over the existing cushion because it's a tight fit even without it.
I'm satisfied with it. It's comfortable and gets the job done.

This product works great on my Sony MDR-V600 headphones. The original headband was falling apart and Sony's design makes it very difficult to install a comparable band. This pad went on with ease thanks to its snaps, looks great, and is comfortable. Highly recommended.

I am currently using it on my modded 60 grados. I feel as though it add that extra cushion for long listening sessions. The material is not leather it's something much cheaper so don't be disappointed with the cushion material.

The cushion itself serves it's purpose.

Got this to replace the aging headband on my Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO, 250 ohms. They do this just fine, in good style comparable to the original.

Pros:
* Look is very similar to the original (one more snap, same color)
* Fit is a tiny bit tight, but it does go on OK
* Length is perfect
* The cushioning is nice; I don't feel the headphones' weight up there at all

Cons:
* The material feels delicate, like it'll probably wear out faster than the original; time will tell
* The underside material (what contacts the metal band) is not nearly as durable as the material in the original, which is quite tough. This may never become an issue, but given how the DT 770's adjustment never stays put, this could manifest in some internal tears.

Other thoughts:
* For the price, a nice replacement headband. I'll update periodically as it ages to note how it has performed. So far so good.

Followup: Nine months in, and I'm upping to 5-star because it's lasting, taking normal use and minor abuse like falling prey to cat shenanigans. No rips and tears, still soft.

I got this to wrap around the Monoprice 8323 stock headband. Its stock headband was extremely uncomfortable and it gives me a headache. This replacement was much better. It relieves the stress by 100%. Great item to pair with the Monoprice 108323 Premium Hi-Fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphone, Black, which is a great quality pair of headphones for the budget consumer. You will have a set that is comparable to the Audio-Technica ATH-M50.
