This new generation of therapeutic lamps uses salt instead of the more commonly used metal oxide materials. Salt provides 3um more in frequency width than other materials. Radiant bars are designed with frequency of 2-14 um and peak value wavelength of 7-10 um, which are the best values to be absorbed by the body.
