If your expecting the same tail rotors pictured on the item description, your in for a disappointment. As you can see clearly the picture shows (4) 2-blade tail rotors, but when I received the package I got (4) 3-blade rotors. They don't even fit the Air Hogs Havoc Heli ! Amazon should seriously take this item off and tell the seller (Draganfly Innovations) to stop selling these. I complained to Amazon and got a full refund for this. Thank you Amazon for taking care of your customers, but this item needs to be taken off your listings. Very misleading, DO NOT BUY!

I bought a "MicroGear Ecoman EC10133, RC Mini Dragonfly" helicopter on Fry's Thanksgiving sale. Heck, I thought that for $10 you can't go wrong (normally they cost $25). I noticed that the kit came with one spare tail propeller.

Well, to make a long story short, this is a great and fun toy. Unfortunately, after two crashes, I ran out of tail propellers. I did several searches and could not find spares anywhere. I thought that was it, more trash for the landfield. Out of accident, I found these spare tail props in Amazon. Well, they work great. After replacing the broken one, the heli is back on the air for more Holiday fun.

As a tip, use the key words "spare tail blade" when you do a search. You will find tons of hits.

The picture is of a 2 pronged tail prop, what I got was a 3-pronged tail prop which doesn't work with the copter. Change the picture, or send me the right product.

I purchased a Syma S107 Helicopter this past week and based upon Amazon's recommendation I added both the tail rotor replacements and the main blade replacements.

After only a couple of hours I crashed the helicopter, and while I didn't break the existing tail rotor, I did knock it off. I opened the package of replacements and installed one on the tail of my S107 and attempted to take off, but it wouldn't fly correctly. I then looked around and found my lost rotor and compared them only to discover that the pitch of the blades was opposite from the original making forwards go backwards and backwards go forwards.

I'm sure these replacements would be perfect for a helicopter that turned the tail rotor shaft in the opposite direction, but these are not for the Syma S107.

I guess I should have read the review and not trusted the bundling suggestion from Amazon.

These things tend to break at the same spot repeatedly, so I put a dab of clear epoxy (the kind that comes in the double syringe thing) right where they break. They seem to be pretty much indestructible now and it doesn't affect the flight at all!

I dont know what helicopter these were originally made for, but they are recommended for the s107 for people who are performing a speed modification to the toy. These are not the original tail props for the s107 but if you want the s107 to go faster, you must swap the original s107 tail rotor with one of these and invert the tail rotor engine so that the rotor is facing downward with these propellers attatched. The reason you have to switch it upside down is because the blades are oriented to spin an opposite direction to the originals. These are a bigger propeller and will help give the helicopter more power for foreward movement.


Having said that, I must also mention that this mod has been done with the props in the picture with 2 blades. I have heard that some people get shipped a different set of props with 3 blades. I havent recieved or tried those. I wonder if they are just a different variation of this prop with the same blade orientation and output.

If you are trying to purchase replacement rotors for your Syma S107 do not purchase this product. It is for a different Helicopter.

These are so cheap. I can't believe they cost what they do.

I bought these because of the tail mod I saw on youtube. However, it's worse than the stock tail.

I wish I never bought these.

I never received these and it turns out they would have been wrong for the helicopter I ordered anyway. They were listed as things to go along with the helicopter I ordered, so I figured, why not? The main blades were the wrong ones and I ended up getting a refund from Amazon (they are great!). However, I never received these and it ain't worth the hassle. My recommendation is that you be careful on the "package" deals and do a little research in order to get the right things that go with the main item.

As several other reviewers have said, I did not receive the pictured product. The picture shows a prop with 2 blades and I received a prop with 3 blades and it doesn't work for our helicopter. I contacted Amazon for a replacement with the pictured props, and they said they could not help me since this is from an external seller, all they can do is take a return for a refund. These props don't stay on this toy, so now I am stuck with a worthless toy because it can't fly without the tail prop and I can't find them anywhere. Everywhere I look, it just links back to this Dragonfly Innovations that sent the wrong ones.
