4.0 out of 5 stars These fit a Yiboo Mini EuroTiger Airsquire

3.0 out of 5 stars Close, but won't fly
The rotor blades look fine. However, when I installed them on my son's helicopter, the helicopter wouldn't get off the ground. It's spinning in the right direction, and it is close to lifting off, but just not quite. The new blade doesn't look any heavier than the original, but both are so light that it is hard to tell. 4.0 out of 5 stars These fit a Yiboo Mini EuroTiger Airsquire, January 14, 2009

I bought this as a replacement for a Yiboo mini Euro Tiger Airsquire, which broke one of the connecting arms between the main rotor and stabilizing bar. These new rotors have a slightly different stabilizer - it has more of a wing profile than the original type. I wasn't sure if they would work but for $4 what is there to lose?
Once fitted, the helicopter flies a lot a better than it ever did before! It is much more stable and doesn't veer off into the wall when attempting to take off (which is what broke my original rotor). Some reviewers here said that their models would not fly any more because of the weight of the new rotors, but the Yiboo is OK.

No instructions came with the new rotors so here's what worked for me (For the Yiboo anyway). Getting the old rotor off is not easy! If the old rotor will not simply pull off:
Cut across the plastic shaft of the old rotor just below the stabilizer bar, and above the tell tale hole with wire cutters or similar. You can now remove the stabilzer and main rotor. Don't cut any lower as you'll cut through the metal drive shaft. This leaves the plastic shaft which is part of the rotor around an inner metal shaft which conencts to the drive motor. You must be careful not to bend or damage the metal shaft.
Cut along the length of the remaining plastic shaft with a craft knife. It takes several cuts to get through. I made two cuts 180 degrees apart. Be careful not to cut yourself! You can now peel the two halves of the remains of the plastic shaft away from the metal inner shaft. I couldn't get all the way to the end of the plastic as it was within the body of the helicopter. Cutting as far down as I could, and peeling away released the plastic part from the metal shaft and I was able to pull the remains of plastic away from the metal inner shaft. This method completely destroys the old rotor of course, but I'm assuming you're replacing it because it is already damaged.
The new rotor just pushed onto the shaft quite easily. I used washing up liquid to ease it on and the pressure of my finger and thumb was sufficient. You know it is on far enough when you can see the metal inner shaft through the tell tale hole.
I can't guarantee that this method will work for all brands of Electric Helicopter, but it may provide some tips. Good luck and happy flying.

Maybe weight combined with a little different lift angle on the blade is just enough to prevent it from flying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Correct part for PicooZ or Air Hog Havoc, January 12, 2008

This is the correct part if you have a PicooZ/Air Hog Havoc 2-ch heli.
Make sure that the rotor fits snugly, because a loose fit will not provide adequate lift to get your heli up and running even though the rotors seem to spin . You also have to adjust trim and make sure that the tail rotor is clean of wrapped hair or fuzz, and perfectly perpendicular to the main rotor- these are essential for proper functioning of the heli, and typically have to be checked/adjusted after each crash.

This replacement is definitely sturdier than the original rotor, as well as the single spare that came with the original heli.

This product has restored my little heli to full function and made me a happy little child again, much to my wife's chagrin.

Over the Holidays, we got two Havoc-heli's and one Sharper Image heli. The Sharper Image heli broke within 24h. This replacement rotor fits the Sharper Image heli, but is heavier than original so it can not take off. One of the other heli's main rotor broke and this replacement did work.. for a couple of days until the heli motor or steering became bad. We are now down to one. Lesson learned. These are expensive "Toys". Expect to throw it away after a short time.

4.0 out of 5 stars A necessary thing to have if you own a mini heli, January 6, 2008

If you own any of the mini helicopters, such as the Airhog Havoc Heli, having spare rotors is a good idea. Our cat decided that she didn't like the helicopter and swatted it out of the air breaking the main rotor. Use care when replacing though...if you bend the main shaft, then the helicopter is most likely finished.

Don't bother. This toy is not designed for this rotor to be replaceable. It's almost impossible to remove the old rotor, and once we put on the new rotor, the copter no longer had enough lift to work.

Looks close but this is NOT a replacement for AirHogs Havoc Razor. The rotor shaft is different. Even if you remove the shaft that comes with this replacement, the blades WILL NOT fit correctly on the existing rotor shaft.

Most of these reviews are slamming the replacement parts, but realize that since most of these helicopters are very cheap, the fact than you can replace parts is a GOOD thing. Being careful, knowing what model you have will make things a lot easier. These toys are made in Asia and are not meant to last a long time. What goes up will eventually come down, so if you can get flying again, all the better.
