Needed a new bag for my Polaris 280. Went to the local store (Leslie) and was surprised to see the price had gone up considerably from last year. Took it to the checkout anyway (I needed it). Made a comment to the clerk about how expensive it was. He replied back with a simple smirk... A bit annoyed, I went home, got online and ordered bag via Amazon. Didn't use the one I just bought from the store... waited till I got the shipment (only took three days - Wow) to make sure it was right. In short, what I ordered from Amazon was exactly the same (packaging, labeling, barcode, etc.) at about half the price which included shipping. Took the original back to the store for refund.

I'm buying this bag to replace my old one which is very dirty. That old Polaris bag lasted about a yr or so.

This item arrived in 2 days,and was well-packed. The price is unbeatable, just $19.99 per bag and it's the original Polaris. I'm very happy with the it & the velcro works great.

I'd definitely buy from Amazon in the future.

The polaris is the one of the greatest inventions for pool owners everywhere.
This 280 all purpose bag replaced the previous worn out bag I had.
The netting is sufficiently small to catch not only dead debris and leaves but it also picks up quite a bit of sand and particulates at the bottom of my pool. Its very easy to replace and well made as all polaris stuff is.

only problem I've had so far, is that when I empty the bag, the super strong velcro caught on the netting and is starting to produce some snags.

oh well, if you have a polaris, this is the bag you need.

Why buy local when this is the exact same item for half the price?
This is the name-brand Polaris product.

This is the exact item that was available at the local pool store at about 50% of the cost. Very fast shipping. Very pleased with this purchase.

We have the Polaris pool bot so when the mesh tore, we skipped the pool store to have a replacement one delivered to our door. The bot runs everyday for a couple of hours and the bag we replaced was over a year old - not a bad lifespan for a mesh bag collecting leaves, sticks and bugs in a chlorine environment.

This replacement bags fits perfectly and in fact is a nicer bag than the one that orginially came with my Polaris. Good value and quality product.

Product works well, bag collects almost everything, including the smallest of particles. I discovered you can also use the bag to manually to skim the surface because the dense fibers are able to collect very fine particles (although a silt skimmer would probably be much better). Arrived very quickly from the mail, safe and well packed. Thank you ThePoolMan. Only con to this product is that particles get stuck to the velcro that allows you to open and clean the bag. A little hose flushing usually solves the problem. Otherwise, great product!
